We offer two types of lightning protection systems for residential structures.

System 2000
Conventional Lightning Protection System

Residential lightning setup

These are the primary components of a lighting protection system which work together to prevent lightning damage to your structure:

  • Air terminals (rods)
  • Conductor (cable)
  • Bonds to metallic bodies
  • Ground terminations
  • Surge arresters

Interceptor System 3000
Alternative or Enhanced Lightning Protection System

The ERITECH Interceptor System 3000 is offered as an alternative to a conventional lightning protection system (System 2000). The unique features of this system allow optimum performance, flexibility of design, as well as overall cost effective installation.

This system is specifically designed for residential projects and structures below 65 feet in height. The Interceptor provides a preferred point for lightning discharges which would otherwise strike and damage an unprotected structure and/or its contents. The ERITECH Interceptor is optimally connected to a down-conductor and low impedance grounding system in such a way as to provide a totally integrated system.

The Interceptor System 3000 features the following:

  • A simple non-radioactive air termination with enhanced protective radius.
  • Active design which employs energy from a surrounding e-field to actively launch an upleader at the critical time.
  • Economical, simple installation and minimal maintenance.

Don't Forget the Surge Protection!

A professional lightning protection system protects your structure, but what about the electronic equipment in your home? Harmful electrical surges can enter your home through power lines, communication lines and other utility lines. Our qualified lightning protection specialists can make recommendations and install surge protection that is tailored to meet your individual needs and protect all your valuable electronic equipment.
